Iwaki Aquatic was established as a division of Iwaki America in 2016 to support the aquatic research community. Iwaki Aquatic aquaria rack systems are designed specifically for the African Clawed Frog Xenopus spp. and Zebrafish Danio rerio, but over the years our experts have designed and built custom systems for over 150 different aquatic organisms. No project is too big or too small.
LAbREED Zebrafish System Full Rack
System Features
- Available in stand-alone, flow-through and multi-rack configurations
- All systems feature constant flow technology with Iwaki Aquatic pumps that are speed
controlled based on system pressure to maintain constant flow to the fish holding tanks - Modular rack design allows additional tank holding levels to be added to the top of the rack
and allows the rack system to be easily reconfigured as your lab needs change

- 2 liter, 4.5 liter, and 9 liter polycarbonate tanks
- Innovative adult baffle design with vertical tube that provides self-cleaning flow for the removal of settleable solids
- Tank and rack combine to create 5-degree slope towards tank vertical tube drain for improved solids removal efficiency
Filtration System
- Low maintenance oversized moving bed biofilter
- Stainless steel UV unit
- Large capacity 50-micron cartridge filter
- Submerged 200-micron pre-filter bag

- System includes level and flow sensors for safety and shut-down of electrical components in the event of a low water or low flow situation

- Three-piece tank assembly (tank, lid, and baffle) are autoclavable and easy to clean with no recesses
or complicated parts - Larval baffles are color coded for easy identification of the 400, 700, and 1000 micron sizes. Tanks
include two slots for larval baffle placement
